Nick: Oh, hi, Amber. That new girl Morgan is outside looking for you. Should I tell her you are in there?
Amber: Oh, pls don"t.
Nick: Why not? Isn"t she your friend? You hang out with her at school a lot.
Amber: I was trying to be nice. But when she"s with me, all my other friends stay away. I don"t want to lose all my friends!
Liz: That"s why you have to talk to Morgan.

Greg: Liz is right. You should talk to her. Tell her why you"re avoiding her.
Amber: But I don"t want to hurt her feelings. I can"t say, " I don"t want to be your friend anymore."
Nick: Why not?
Amber: Oh, Nick!
Greg: Just tell her you need some space. Tell her to make other friends.
Amber: But no one else wants to be her friends.
Liz: Then help her make some.

Amber: How?
Greg: Tell her to join a club to meet people.
Nick: And tell her not to talk so much about herself. That"s why everyone avoinds her.
Amber: Will she liston to me? Won"t she get angry?
Liz: Maybe. But you should still be honest with her. Why don"t you go talk to her now?
Amber: WIll you go with me, Nick?
Nick: Well...
Amber: Pls?
Nick: Ok. That"s what friends are for.
